Yes, you read that right. You’re going to work out on that cardio machine you always avoid, and you are going to freaking love it.

If you haven’t yet heard of Anna Kaiser, it’s high time you familiarize yourself with her high-energy brand of exercise. For the past few years, she’s been huge on the fitness scene from coast to coast. Kaiser opened the doors to her NYC studio, AKT InMotion, in 2013 to rave reviews; people flock for her upbeat mashups of dance, plyometrics, yoga, and strength training. Now she’s taking her magic formula to a treadmill with AKTread, an 80-minute workout that launched last week.

Treadmill classes in general are super trendy right now (see: Mile High Run Club or Precision Running at Equinox), but AKTread is our jam because first of all, you can do it on any treadmill, anywhere. (That’s your cue to fire up the machine gathering dust in your garage.) Also, it’s not just running: You’ll bust out a mix of jogging and high-knee intervals, strength moves like lunges and leg lifts, and—best part!—Kaiser’s signature dance steps.
