Kathryn Mulcahey

Kathryn has been in love with dance for as long as she can remember. She began her professional career at the age of 19 when she booked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show as a backup dancer, and gained representation by Clear Talent Group. Since then she has performed with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, Nicki Minaj and Carly Rae Jepsen. She has appeared in several episodes of Saturday Night Live, as well as Boardwalk Empire, and danced in national commercials for Macy’s. She has performed in fashion shows for Athleta, Hermes, and Wolford under the direction of Luam Keflezgy, Andrea Miller, and Brice Mousset, respectively. A fun fact about Kathryn is that she was the voice of Tickety Tock the Clock on Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues. She currently performs at the Barclays Center as a Brooklynette for the NBA Brooklyn Nets.

Her search for the perfect cross training to complement her dance career led her to AKT, where she quickly fell in love with the community and technique. She is pursuing her NASM certification (CPT) and is excited to continue to grow in her expertise of movement science. She is grateful for every day she gets to dance and thrilled to be a part of this talented, wonderful family at AKT in Motion.
