Big leafy greens are not as intimidating as they look and they are literally PACKED with essential nutrients you need. Here’s a perfect healthy holiday side dish recipe from our in-house Health and Wellness Coach, Safia Morsly-Fikai.
This DELICIOUS Swiss chard can be ready in 20 min:
- Rinse and chop (remove the big stems at the end). Also thinly slice a shallot.
- Sautée in a skillet over low heat with the shallot. I use 2 tbs of grape seed oil to sautée. You can add some spices if you want (I use my favorite anti-inflammatory spices: Cayenne, turmeric, ginger). Season with salt and pepper, stir and cover.
- Let it cook for 20 min while stirring regularly. Voilà!
