Start your day off with a simple glass of room temperature or warm water with freshly squeezed lemon (or slightly chilled if you live in a warm environment).

I have a close personal relationship with lemon water. I mean, we do wake up together, and it is one of my absolute favorite morning rituals. I am also indebted to this habit for revolutionizing my morning. It completely resolved my morning digestion issues.

What ’s So Great About Lemon Water?

Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Warm lemon water helps to kick-start the detox and digestion process for the day by pushing out undesirable toxins from your body and promoting the production of bile in the stomach. It also helps alkalize your system.
