Nothing says summer like the taste of watermelon. This go-to thirst quencher keeps AKTrainers and clients hydrated for pre/post workout. Here’s how you can use it to summer up your beverages, even when you’re not hitting the gym.

1. Freshen up your morning routine with a watermelon smoothie:
  • 1 cups mixed raspberries & blueberries
  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup crushed watermelon
  • 1 lime, juiced (~30 ml)
  • 1 Tbsp chia or hemp seeds (optional)
2. Add a watermelon crush to your happy hour:
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 4 ounces crushed watermelon
  • Splash of lemon-lime soda
3. SUMMERize your sparkling water with watermelon:
  • 1/2 glass crushed watermelon
  • 1/2 glass sparkling water
