AKTrainers, Becky and Emily, Coming to You from the Hamptons!

To all our NYC people: “WE MISS YOU AND CAN’T WAIT TO REUNITE!!” We’ve spent three summers together out in the Hamptons and we want to share with you some of our favorite local spots that we like to visit before, after, and in between our AKT sessions!

During the busy summer season, especially August, there’s little time between sessions to grab a quick healthy snack, but we found this gem, Lisa’s Lovely, just a 5 minute walk from the studio. They have fresh juices, smoothies, and energy-packed, made-to-order açaì bowls.

Our personal favorites:

After our day ends, we love taking a jump in the ocean. We also love finding new ways to reduce our carbon footprint! The Hamptons provides a way to achieve both! WINNING! Instead of driving around, we grab the FreeRide: gas-free, electric shuttles that transport people to all the local spots in the Hamptons, including the BEACH.

One of the perks of being out in the Hamptons is that you can catch the sunrise as well as the sunset! Of course, we LOVE the sunsets in Montauk (at Montauket and Navy Beach, to name a few)  but sometimes we like to walk around Sag Harbor in the evening and catch the sunset at The Beacon.
