Taylor Habershaw (@taylorhabershaw)


Taylor’s love for dance sparked in her hometown of Warwick, Rhode Island where she danced competitively in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and other various styles for 13 years. Her passion for the art led her to pursue her BFA from Jacksonville University where she received many performance accolades along the way. Now in New York City, Taylor works professionally in both the musical theatre and commercial circuits – performing in regional productions, industrials, and films. She is lucky to have had the privilege of working closely and consistently with choreographers such as Al Blackstone, James Kinney, Marc Kimelman, and Josh Assor – just to name a few. Having always been devoted to fitness and a healthy living style,Taylor is beyond excited to merge her two loves together here at AKT and hopes you are ready to SWEAT IT OUT with her!

Adea Sessoms (@iamadeamichelle)


Adéa Sessoms is a native of Memphis, TN and is excited to be joining the AKTeam. Adéa, at the young age of 3, fell in love with dancing when she began competing. After high school, Adéa attended The University of the Arts where she graduated with a B.F.A in jazz dance performance. After graduating she moved to NYC where she started her career working in industrial shows for Target and Nike. Adéa has toured with both companies of the Wicked national tours and also toured with singer Santigold, as one of her backup singer and dancer. She has always had a love for fitness and is excited to be able to merge these two passions. In addition to dance and fitness Adéa is also a freelance makeup artists.

Kelcy Pender (@kelpender)


Kelcy started training in all styles of dance including ballet,jazz,and tap at the age of 3. Her passion for performing would land her at the University of Michigan where she pursed acting and musical theatre. Since moving to NYC, Kelcy found herself traveling across the country to perform in national tours and regional theaters. She has 2 Broadway shows under her belt, including Chicago and Bullets Over Broadway. She can also be seen on TV shows such as Power and Bull! Since finding AKT, she truly feels in her element. The workout has changed her body and mind. Kelcy has always been passionate about fitness, and has been training in the industry for 7 years. She is a NASM certified personal trainer, and looks forward to connecting with the AKT community and growing within the AKTeam!

Tenealle Farragher (@teneallefaragher)


Tenealle Farragher was born and raised in Newcastle, Australia. She began her dance career at 4 years old, competing around Australia, and received her training at some of the best schools in the country. She has trained with The Australian Ballet school, along with National Academy of Dance and Brent Studios. Tenealle was the winner of countless awards and dancing honors, including being bestowed with The Australian Dancer of The Year. She moved to New York after being accepted into the Alvin Ailey School to pursue a career in dance.
After graduating, she performed in many shows including Fame, Footloose, Cirque du Soleil at MSG, Disney Cruise Lines, the original cast of The Dream, Fuerza Bruta, West Side Story International Tour, Flashdance, the Illusionist on Broadway, and West Side Story at Papermill Playhouse. She has also been involved in commercial work AXE, Twister, and TV appearances such as America’s Got Talent, Nurse Jackie, John Wick, and Broadway 4D, along with industrials and concert performances with Pitbull, and music festivals with headliners Tiesto, Diplo, and Skrillex. Tenealle is extremely excited and honored to be a part of the AKT team, bringing her passions for teaching, fitness and dance all together.

Emily moved to NYC from Columbus, Ohio where she was a competitive dancer in all styles. She graduated from her high school as a valedictorian, but quickly fell in love with the hustle of the city and soon made her Broadway debut at the age of 20 in the Tony award winning show, “The King and I” at Lincoln Center Theater. Emily has had the pleasure of dancing behind celebrities such as Jimmy Fallon, Josh Groban, LLCoolJ, and many more. She has also appeared on many popular TV shows such as “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” “Good Morning America,” “The Today Show,” and multiple episodes of both “Lip Sync Battle,” and “Saturday Night Live.” She was even a principal dancer on “SNL’s” Emmy nominated episode dancing behind Lin-Manuel Miranda. Emily is so excited to be a part of the fiercest crew in fitness and party it out with you on the dance floor.
